Certifications

• CDA or RDA required; X-ray certification preferred

• Must have Dental Assistant certification

Job Details

• Job type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour
• Bonus pay: Up to $500 additional per month
• Benefits: Healthcare (medical, dental, vision, etc.), 401k, paid holidays, and paid time off available for all eligible employees

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), assist with extractions and composite fillings
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (e.g., brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Ask about the patient's medical history and monitor blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
