Pride Health is seeking a Dental Assistant for a 13-week contract (with high possibility of extension) at a correctional healthcare facility in Hartsville, TN. • Shift: Days | 3X12s


• Hours per Week: 36 hours


• Travel Pay Range: $30 - 33.9/hr

Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $33.90/hr

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with the treatment of inmates/residents by setting up instruments, preparing impressions, and mixing filling materials.


• Sterilize dental units and instruments after each treatment; restock equipment prior to the next patient.


• Maintain control of medications, syringes, and other dental supplies/equipment; complete inventory as required.


• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dental equipment and work areas.


• Review services provided to prevent inappropriate or duplicate treatments.


• Track inmate/resident treatment progress to ensure completion of all necessary interventions and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.


• Certificate or completion of a dental assistant training program (per contract or statute).


• Valid driver’s license required.

Certifications & Skills

• Dental Assistant training certificate preferred.


• Strong organizational skills, ability to maintain sterile environments, and attention to detail.

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
