This role is crucial in supporting our dentists during dental procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist dentists during dental procedures by handing them instruments, maintaining a clear field of vision, and anticipating their needs.Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments, including setting up instruments, equipment, and materials.Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.Provide chairside assistance to dentists during various procedures.Maintain accurate patient records.Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, and managing patient inquiries.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred.CPR certification preferred.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting.Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
