Our growing dental practice is seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team! Help us deliver top-quality general dentistry in a welcoming and patient-centered environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing patients for treatment
- Assisting during basic dental procedures
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, safe workspace
- Taking digital dental X-rays
- Recording and updating patient dental records
- Educating patients on procedures and oral hygiene
- Performing digital scanning for restorative and orthodontic cases
- Placing orthodontic aligner attachments
What We Value
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Certification from an accredited dental assisting program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- A professional, polished demeanor
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong commitment to patient care and comfort
- Ability to maintain clinical flow and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Confidence to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate!
Hyten Dental is a privately owned general dental practice located in Carlyle, Illinois. We are a well-established, close-knit team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. Our team includes Dr. Hyten, an experienced office manager, four Registered Dental Hygienists, three Dental Assistants, a Financial Coordinator, and a Schedule Coordinator—bringing together a combined total of 188 years of dental expertise.
As our patient base continues to grow steadily each month, we’ve recently expanded our facility to better serve our community.
