We invite skilled and dedicated individuals to apply for the Expanded Function Dental Assistant position. This role is essential to our commitment to providing top-tier dental care and ensuring efficient and streamlined dental procedures for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Accurately take dental radiographs.
• Managed patient flow, ensuring efficient transition from the waiting room to the operating room.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Handle dental instruments and materials during procedures.
• Obtain precise dental impressions for study casts or prosthetic fabrications.
• Fabricate, adjust, and fit temporary crowns as needed.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly operatory, ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Chart existing and treatment plans in the dental management software (Dentrix)

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid x-ray certification.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant.
• Demonstrated skill in obtaining dental impressions.
• Proficiency in the fabrication and adjustment of temporary crowns.
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Compensation:

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
