Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical systems on semi-trucks and trailers, including:

    • Brakes
    • Steering & Suspension
    • HVAC systems
    • Drivetrains
    • Electrical systems
    • Preventative Maintenance (PM) inspections
  • Conduct fleet inspections and perform scheduled maintenance.
  • Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues accurately.
  • Perform tire-related services as needed (mounting, balancing, repairing).
  • Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and DOT regulations.
  • Respond to roadside service calls using a company service truck (F-350), when required.
  • Assist with parts inventory and shop organization.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certification a plus).
  • Prior experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet technician, or heavy truck mechanic preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
  • Must be able to lift/move tires and equipment (30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids).
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Willingness to work in varying conditions (weather, noise, physical demands).
