Mechanic Job at J&F Auto Repair Llc in Indianapolis

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, be able to diagnose problems quickly and accurately, and have a commitment to safety. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate with team members, be willing to learn new skills while also teaching other team members when necessary. Shop is open Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm and is located on the west side of Indianapolis in Clermont. Flexible vacation and sick time is available with insurance and 401K set-up in process. Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and skill set.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles
• Test and inspect vehicles for proper performance
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles
• Follow safety procedures when working on vehicles
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
