STTC, a leading provider of truck tires and mechanical repair/maintenance with 49 locations across 8 states, offers a full-time opportunity for a Truck and Trailer Mechanic.

An ideal candidate will have a state inspection certification. Our shops are well-equipped, clean, and operate in a positive, fast-paced environment. Career advancement programs are available.

Mechanic Job Duties

• Performing preventative maintenance (PMs)
• Federal inspections
• Troubleshooting and general repairs to tractors, trailers, and straight trucks
• Knowledge of electrical and air brake systems on trucks and trailers; computer skills for diagnostic software troubleshooting

Mechanic Requirements

State inspection certification is a plus where required by law. A Class C driver’s license is needed; CDL preferred. Must have a clean driving record and own basic hand tools. Training is provided. Compensation depends on experience, certifications, and licenses.
