Job Summary

This role is responsible for the maintenance and appearance of attractions. The Mechanic will assist with repairing and maintaining attractions and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and performance checks on track and go-karts
• Maintain go-kart performance
• Repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure attractions are in top condition
• Maintain documentation of repairs and inventory
• Follow scheduled preventative maintenance for all equipment
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Ensure safety protocols are followed
• Maintain tools and machinery
• Help keep the go-kart areas clean and safe
• Assist with track operations and general maintenance duties
• Define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals
• Perform other maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED; auto mechanic training or related experience preferred
• Availability on weekends
• Experience with go-kart, golf cart, or motorcycle repair preferred
• Ability to handle various tasks and repairs
• Experience using multi-meters for diagnostics
• Ability to read technical manuals

Physical Requirements

• Work in noisy, fast-paced environment
• Stand, kneel, bend, walk, reach, push, and pull for long periods
• Lift up to 300 lbs with assistance
• Wear protective gear as required
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, reaching, and operating tools
