Job Summary

The Mechanic will complete all repairs, preventative maintenance, programmed repairs, and facility repairs to be in compliance with equipment/facility reliability and standards. Maintenance mechanics will report any foreseeable problems to the Shop Manager.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• General mechanical knowledge including pumps, hydraulics, and electrical.
• Basic welding knowledge and experience.
• Good assembly skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Basic intermediate computer skills.
• Experience with work order execution.
• Has own basic tools.
• Experience with safety training.
• Facility repair experience.
• Keep up with training and process needs, requirements.
• Problem solving and root cause diagnosis.
• Communicates well and works in a clean, orderly manner.
• Diagnose and manage employee projects.
• Schedule repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work afternoon shift and overtime when available.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade education in industrial mechanics (preferred).
