The typical schedule is Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with up to two Saturdays a month.

Job Summary

Responsible for safely maintaining trucks and equipment, ensuring they are properly serviced and operational.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in mechanic work within a post-high school environment, including military, institutional, or vocational settings, with demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and document work.
  • Mechanical experience with a preference for diesel engines.
  • Valid driver’s license, with a medical card and acceptable driving record. CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment, ensuring safety and proper operation.
  • Operate tools, welders, hoists, and other equipment safely.
  • Diagnose maintenance issues using manuals and schematics.
  • Order parts, disassemble, fabricate, and reassemble components.
  • Perform welding and cutting tasks.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and complete repair documentation daily.
  • Drive and maintain the mechanic’s truck.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients, maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
  • Handle multiple projects efficiently, adhering to deadlines and safety regulations.
  • Operate company vehicles for field repairs and post-repair testing.
  • Bring your own basic tools, including pneumatic and specialty tools.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
