Position Description:
Responsible for professionally and courteously serving customers by handling all inbound telephone calls pertaining to individual and business-related tax compliance, delinquency, and general information requests. Candidates should have a bias for doing the right thing and serving others with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering incoming calls in a fast-paced environment
- Resolving Tier 1 issues
- Reviewing taxpayer accounts
- Verifying, gathering, and updating key information
- Educating taxpayers on online resources and current tax policies
- Submitting payment arrangement requests
- Documenting actions in multiple systems
- Participating in team activities
- Meeting performance expectations
Required Skills:
- Strong multitasking ability
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to retain knowledge easily
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Goal-oriented and organized
Preferred Skills: Spanish-speaking
Experience Requirements:
At least two recent positions, each at least one year in a fast-paced call center environment, preferably in finance, banking, insurance, or telecommunications (non-technical support).
Preferred Experience:
Experience with process improvements, basic math, and banking history.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate degree or higher (preferred)
Additional Information:
- This role offers potential for permanent employment based on performance, dependability, and culture fit.

- Candidates must reside in the Greater Phoenix Metro area and attend orientation in person.
- Flexible schedule within operating hours (7:45 am - 5:15 pm, Mon-Fri).
- Training: 3 weeks, 8:30 am - 5 pm.
- Attendance is critical.
- Fully remote position; reliable internet and equipment transportation required.
- Candidates must be within 1 hour of Phoenix or Tucson, with resume and cover letter required.
- Remote interviews; resumes reviewed daily.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
