Financial Services Associate (B2B Collections) – 52728

Contract to Hire - $20/hr

Cincinnati, OH (hybrid 2 days onsite)

Collection of outstanding B2B debt and assist with fixing incorrect information causing the reject/balance

Job Summary:

We’re seeking motivated and professional Collections Associates to join our Financial Shared Services team. This is not your typical collection’s role, it’s entirely B2B and focuses on building positive relationships with merchants, many of whom are still actively processing payments. You’ll work closely with business owners and accounting departments to resolve outstanding balances and correct account information.

This is a career-focused role with significant growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage B2B collections with professionalism and empathy.
  • Contact merchants via inbound and outbound calls to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Update and maintain accurate account information in CRM systems.
  • Identify and resolve account discrepancies impacting payment processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve payment resolution processes.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills – able to connect with business owners and accounting teams.
  • Microsoft Office & CRM proficiency – Excel and basic data entry skills required.
  • Negotiation skills – experience handling sensitive payment discussions.
  • Empathy & patience – balance persistence with professionalism.
  • Attention to detail – accuracy in account management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

  • Customer service, collections, sales, or negotiation experience in a call center environment.
  • AP/AR exposure is a plus.
  • Within 45 minutes commute to Cincinnati office.
