Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida, Inc. has an immediate opening for a dedicated Call Center and Customer Service professional, especially those bilingual in English and Spanish. The Call Center Representative will be responsible for answering all incoming calls to the Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida (FHC) Call Center and managing the calls through scheduling or directing callers to the appropriate department.

Our positions pay well above the market rate, with regular schedules (Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm). Apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming calls in a call center setting, demonstrating strong telephone etiquette and listening skills.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively via verbal and written skills.
• Listen carefully to patient needs and ensure accurate addressing of inquiries.
• Direct calls appropriately, document calls accurately in the call and registration systems.
• Answer questions using proper protocol and provide information to callers.
• Schedule patient visits, register new patients, and guide them through the registration process.
• Handle various patient inquiries using appropriate resources for accurate responses.
• Write clear and accurate notes in patients’ electronic health records.
• Conduct all communications with patients/guardians in a respectful and sensitive manner.
• Use patient registration systems to update insurance and procedures, and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous call center experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
