About The Role

As a Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the strategic direction for onsite cleaning operations within the Cleaning Services function. You will ensure the cleanliness of client and company buildings.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruitment.
  • Manage daily team activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, and mentor staff.
  • Implement best practices and innovative strategies to maintain industry-leading cleaning standards.
  • Plan and oversee all cleaning operations, including periodic tasks, with clear schedules and sign-offs.
  • Focus on training and developing the team to maintain high standards.
  • Support the business and clients in contractual and service-related matters.
  • Manage feedback and complaints effectively, ensuring resolution.
  • Approve payroll and manage labor costs.
  • Conduct site audits to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs, addressing non-compliance professionally.
  • Lead by example, embodying J&J values, and influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
  • Apply disciplinary knowledge to achieve team and departmental goals.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues efficiently.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education combined will be considered.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting over 50 lbs.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills for handling sensitive information and performance expectations.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and impact team performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and a curious mindset.
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations.

The salary range for this position is $80,500 - $140,000, with potential benefits including medical, well-being, financial planning, and incentives.
