Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and capable cGMP clean-room cleaning technician lead to support Manufacturing Operations in our newly constructed early-stage cell/gene therapy GMP manufacturing facility located in Louisville, CO. Ensuring the production of safe, high-quality products in a highly controlled environment is of paramount importance, and cleaning is an essential part.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with personnel and the cleaning team to schedule and execute cleaning tasks.
- Follow SOPs to prepare cleaning solutions and perform clean-room area cleaning, including daily routine, monthly, quarterly, and return to service cleanings.
- Document cleaning activities in area logbooks.
- Assist in leading a team of cleaning technician contractors with their duties.
- Manage Manufacturing Operations Cleaning technician contractors, including assigning work tasks, holding 1:1 meetings, and delivering feedback and expectations.
- Prepare, execute, and clean up after required cleaning activities within controlled spaces.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, good manufacturing practices, and good documentation practices.
- Lead and perform equipment cleaning in accordance with relevant material inventory management.
- Review GMP documentation such as logbooks.
- Train and onboard new team members as required.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of cGMP clean-room cleaning experience in the pharmaceutical, biologics, or medical device field, or equivalent work experience or education.
- At least 1 year of team lead experience with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and motivate personnel.
- Familiarity with environmental monitoring, aseptic technique, cGMP regulations, SOP, GLP, EMPQ, FDA, and GDP.
- Demonstrated experience working on results-oriented teams.
- Exceptional judgment and initiative in resolving problems.
- Proficient in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and web-based applications.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills.
The role is situated in a highly regulated clean-room environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm, with a half-hour lunch break. The position requires full aseptic gowning for long periods. PPE provided includes hair net/cap, safety goggles, gloves, jumpsuit, booties, and tapes. No jewelry or makeup can be worn in the clean room, but painted or acrylic nails and facial hair with a beard guard are acceptable. The total team consists of six technicians.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.60 - $35.33/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Louisville,CO.
