What Will I Be Doing?

• Work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment with a “Safety First” mindset, including PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
• Sanitation and cleaning of assigned areas following master cleaning schedules and procedures; tasks include washing down, shoveling, de-junking, vacuuming, and sweeping.
• Assist in formulating sanitation standards / work procedures and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
• Operate equipment such as skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand/power tools.
• Communicate effectively with team lead, supervisor, and customer to accomplish tasks and maintain good customer relations.
• Maintain adherence to the published work schedule and be available for overtime as required.
• Work from elevated areas using fall protection equipment when required; maintain safety practices.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding unresolved work issues, personnel issues, and employee concerns.
• Work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.
• Perform other work as defined by the company and/or customer.
• Adhere to all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Meet performance expectations as part of performance appraisals and participate in employee development planning.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.

What Makes Me Qualified?

Experience: 2 years in industrial cleaning preferred but not required. Experience operating vacuum trucks or heavy equipment is preferred but not required. If you don’t meet all requirements, apply and we will review your resume for other roles.

Physical Demands

• The ability to observe details at close range.
• Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
• Substantial lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time; ascend/descend stairs, ladders, and/or step stools.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment including forklifts in a safe manner.
• Ability to wear a respirator while performing duties.
• Communication skills to convey information clearly.
• Information ordering and following procedural rules as required.

The work environment may include moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
