Job Position Description:

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers' medical buildings by performing the following duties and responsibilities. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools, and procedures.
• Terminal cleaning of Exam and OR rooms and recovery areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom cleaning, spot cleaning windows and glass, dusting, and sanitizing.
• Ordering supplies and equipment for your work site and caring for the equipment properly.
• Using proper PPE where required.
• Opening and locking facilities, enabling and disabling security systems as required.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked environment and be flexible.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
• Dependable and punctual, in uniform.
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect.
