POOL CLEANING TECHNICIAN FOR KATY, TEXAS

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Pool Cleaning Manager and is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing residential pools.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• At least one year of pool cleaning experience working for pool cleaning companies.
• Certified Pool Operator certification is a plus.
• Ability to communicate politely and efficiently with customers.
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds repetitively and often.
• Licensed driver in the State of Texas with a clean driving record.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

1. Clean and maintain the pool water using cleaning equipment and pool chemicals provided by the employer.
2. Drive an assigned pick-up truck and maintain profitable pool service routes.
3. Perform water testing in the field.
4. Maintain paperwork and records.
5. Perform daily care of the cleaning vehicle.
6. Provide excellent customer service and develop strong relationships with customers.
7. Understand water circulation, pumps, and other pool equipment and operations.
8. Adhere to Pinch a Penny pool maintenance procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the employee to be 18 years or older, with high stamina for physical labor, capable of working in extreme heat and cold, and adverse weather conditions.

Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, climb, and operate a motor vehicle. Ability to work around chlorine without allergic reactions.

BENEFITS:

The salary depends on experience, with full-time employment, work compensation, base salary plus commission, and one week of paid vacation.
