Summary

Our client,an innovative and growing orthopedic medical device company,has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Cleaning Validation SME to lead and oversee both sterile and non-sterile cleaning processes for the medical devices portfolio (Class I–III, including instruments and implantables into the spine). The SME will provide technical leadership on cleaning processes, ensure compliance with international standards, and work closely with vendors to maintain and improve cleaning performance.

Job Duties

• Develop vendor monitoring programs, ensure adherence, complete endpoint testing, review validations, and address non-conformities related to EU MDR
• Act as primary point of contact for suppliers during product and process transfers between manufacturing sites
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19227, MDR, and MDD
• Oversee verification and clean validation testing
• Understand and apply cleaning tests/methods
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve cleaning-related issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years in the medical device industry
• Must have experience with sterile and non-sterile products
• ISO 19227 orthopedic device experience
• Knowledge of MDR and MDD regulations
• Experience in verification and clean validation testing
• Strong microbiology background preferred

Terms & Start

• Highly preferred: Onsite in Westminster, CO (hybrid)
• Fully remote dependent on experience
• 6-month contract with strong potential to convert to FT
