Job Summary

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills; ability to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computers, email, and portable devices to report and record daily activity.
• Experience: 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or experience in related cleaning specialties (e.g., Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile & Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.).
• Certificates: Highly desired certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), e.g., Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) preferred but not required.
• Opportunities to advance into: Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD), Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT).

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform carpet and floor cleaning and restoration services offered by the company (opportunities to earn additional certifications and experience in mold mitigation, fire & water damage restoration).
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work and maintain daily logs and work orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles; manage inventory of related supplies.
• Be willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
