Piper Companies is hiring a skilled Junior Cleaning Validation Engineer for an onsite, contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. The Junior Cleaning Validation Engineer involves supporting cleaning validation and CQV activities on the manufacturing floor, performing tasks like swabbing, sample collection, and documentation, while contributing to process improvements and learning from a well-established technical team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Junior Cleaning Validation Engineer:

  • Perform cleaning validation tasks such as swabbing, sample collection, and data entry into validation software.
  • Support day-to-day execution activities on the manufacturing floor in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Assist with commissioning and qualification (CQV) efforts for new equipment and systems as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing batch changeover times and increasing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely task completion.

Qualifications for the Junior Cleaning Validation Engineer:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in cleaning validation within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to CQV processes and comfort working on the manufacturing floor is preferred.
  • Strong motivation, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a technical role.
  • Ability to follow protocols, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with team members.
  • Familiarity with validation tools or software (e.g., Kneat) is a plus, but not required.

Compensation for the Junior Cleaning Validation Engineer:

  • Salary: $80,000-$90,000 USD/year
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
