Overview

Area Manager at Clean Team responsible for ensuring cleaning operations meet high standards of quality and professionalism. Manage and support cleaning staff, fostering a positive work environment and contributing to the company’s success and reputation.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Attend the 4:00 PM Managers meeting to discuss staffing, budgets, quality, and work orders. Conduct thorough training sessions for new cleaners, site leads, and support technicians. A minimum of 3 days of training is required for new employees.
• Employee Management: Ongoing management of frontline cleaning staff. Treat staff like internal customers to ensure strong retention. Provide necessary equipment promptly and hold the team accountable, delivering constructive and positive feedback as needed.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain cleaning quality at assigned accounts; ensure standards meet or exceed client expectations by following the task schedule (SOW). Conduct weekly inspections and address deficiencies.
• Safety Checks: Conduct spot safety checks to identify and address unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, and improper use of PPE. Ensure safety data sheets are available and visible to employees and customers.
• Operational Efficiency: Ensure timely and consistent service across all accounts. Deliver cleaning equipment, chemicals, and consumables; monitor labor hours to stay within budget.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare and submit nightly reports detailing the day’s activities, including issues, maintenance, supply needs, quality concerns, and additional opportunities. Compile necessary paperwork for the 4:00 PM managers meeting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of management or supervisory experience in cleaning operations or similar
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in cleaning operations

Compensation

Base pay range: $40,000.00/yr – $47,000.00/yr
