Job Position Description:

Manager responsibilities include coordinating employee shifts, training, fill in, motivating team members, and site inspections. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stay on task and complete all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding and demonstration of cleaning principles and team management abilities. Learning all customer sites and working with team members at sites. There will be a learning period prior to full duties being resumed.

Responsibilities

• Learning and training cleaners on ServiceMaster's standards, products, processes, and procedures
• Oversees staff performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance with the set task schedule
• Performs inspections and provides constructive performance feedback to staff members
• Ability to discipline poor performance within company guidelines and procedures
• Assigns shifts and makes necessary adjustments in case of call-offs or no-shows
• Responds to customer complaints and requests in a timely and caring manner
• Ensures compliance with safety and OSHA regulations
• Fills in when needed for call-offs or open positions
• Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• 2 years supervisory experience with 10 or more people
• References
• Will provide on-the-job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
