Simply Clean is hiring: Daytime Cleaning Specialist in Onalaska

Salary: $16 Hourly

We are looking for a motivated and personable individual to join our team. This is a part time position with flexibility on timing for the start of each work day, provided the individual is reliable. Hours may be lessened, added and/or changed depending on hired individuals needs, availability, and dependability. This position includes working in facilities that are occupied by others, therefore working around people and maintaining a positive and respectful disposition. Schedule and position details are as follows:

Monday: Working around 3.5 hours in Holmen. Shift can be started anytime between 7am-10am.

Tuesday: Working around 4.5 hours in La Crescent. Shift can be started anytime between 7am-2pm.

Wednesday:Working around 3 hours one week and 6-7 hours the next week in La Crosse. Shift can be started anytime between 7am-10am.

Thursday:Working around 4.5 hours in La Crescent. Shift can be started anytime between 7am-2pm.

Friday: Working around 3.5 hours in Holmen. Shift can be started anytime between 7am-10am.

JOB DUTIES

Perform assigned tasks on a timely and consistent basis following the building's task and frequency schedule. Tasks will include a mix of the following:

• Sweep or vacuum and mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors.
• Dust work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
• Clean restrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and walls.
• Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap.
• Clean entrance glass and other interior glass.
• Respond positively and promptly to customer work orders.
• Work effectively with other team members.
• Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies.
• * Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners.
• * Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners.
• * Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
• * Deep clean appliances such as fridges, stoves, etc.
• * Follow instruction and perform tasks efficiently without direct supervision

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
• Must have ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must care about quality and take criticism in a constructive manner, correcting concerns immediately.
• Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace.
• Must be reliable.
• Able to lift 35 lbs and carry 35 lbs on your back, as we utilize backpack vacuums.
• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.

Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
