POSITION SUMMARY - Social Worker
POSITION DUTIES - Responsible for providing crisis intervention, psychotherapy, family therapy, and comprehensive case management services for assigned patients/residents and their families. This position may also lead or assist with the referral and admission process for assigned new referrals and provides technical guidance to doctors, other hospital staff, and outside agencies on the methods and procedures for handling a particular case, within State and Federal guidelines. Position requires travel to and from other facilities within the region.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS -
- Master's degree in social work from a program of study accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, or a doctoral degree in social work from a college or university accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, or a comparable regional accreditation body
- A current, valid licensed clinical social worker: LBSW, LMSW, or LCSW - must be licensed in HI
- 1 year professional social work experience in a healthcare setting preferred - such experience must have demonstrated ability to perform the most difficult and complex assignments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Current, valid driver's license
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT - 13 weeks
SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK - Days (40hrs/wk)
SYSTEMS - Cerner
