Social Worker
StartDate: 9/8/2025 Pay Rate: $1600.00 - $2400.00
POSITION SUMMARY – Social Worker
POSITION DUTIES –
- Works with the psychiatrist and interdisciplinary team in developing and managing treatment plans.
- Serves as liaison in relation to patient care and needs, between the hospital, community, and insurers to facilitate access to clinical treatment for individuals.
- Provides social services to both adult and child/adolescent patients.
- Services include but are not limited to bio-psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, individual and family education and group.
- Provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
- Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient centered timely, efficient and equitable.
- Serve on designated committees and as qualified, may serve as field instructors for social work.
- LMSW (licensed in MI)
- Graduate of accredited school of social work with a master’s degree
- 2-3 years social work experience
- Previous travel experience
- Previous recent inpatient behavioral health experience
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to perform intake assessment
- Experience leading groups
- Experience charting in EMR/EMH system
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – Until 1/3/2026
SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 8a-4:30p Rotating Schedule, 2-3 weekends per month required
SYSTEMS – Epic
