Job Description

Life on dialysis can be a difficult transition for many patients—and you’ll be there to support and advocate for them. In this role, you will help patients understand their rights and responsibilities, and guide them in managing the physical, mental, emotional and financial demands of End Stage Renal Disease. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in clinical practice from an accredited school of Social Work.
  • Meets all state requirements to practice in the dialysis setting.
  • Clinical License (e.g., LCSW, LICSW) or equivalent licensure for their state.
  • Proficient in experienced level Social Worker duties.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Knowledge of government and private insurance programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation

The salary range for the role is $78,000–$110,000 per year. If a candidate is hired, pay will be at least the minimum wage according to jurisdiction and exemption status. Location-specific details: Washington exempt: $77,968.80/year; Washington non-exempt: varies by location (e.g., Bellingham $17.66/hour, Burien $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County $20.29/hour, Renton $20.90/hour, Seattle $20.76/hour, Tukwila $21.10/hour; remainder of Washington state $16.66/hour).
