**This position is classified as hybrid with the expectation to come in office for special events or meetings (approximately once a month or less).**

Location: Fenton, MO (Hybrid – in office quarterly)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with rotating 9:00 AM–6:00 PM shifts every 5–6 weeks and occasional on-call

What You’ll Do

As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for UniGroup employees, agents, and drivers seeking technical support. You’ll log into our phone and chat queues each day, respond to a variety of technical issues, and help keep our users productive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide Tier 1 support for desktops, mobile devices, applications, and internal systems
  • Troubleshoot issues ranging from password resets and access errors to system outages
  • Monitor and respond to requests in ServiceNow, live chat, and shared mailboxes
  • Support key systems like The U, mainframe (dispatch, pricing, registration), mobile tools, and Quotes to Go (agency quoting tool)
  • Coordinate access through agency user administration tools
  • Assist with application testing, migrations, and special projects
  • Collaborate with IT teams, security, voice, and product teams to resolve complex issues
  • Rotate into on-call support (after 6 months) and provide after-hours assistance

Tools & Systems You’ll Use

  • ServiceNow (ticketing)
  • The U (internal system), Mainframe applications
  • Microsoft 365
  • Desktop and mobile device support platforms
  • VPN, MFA, and agency access tools

What Success Looks Like

  • 30 Days: Comfortable handling common issues (e.g., password resets, account lockouts) independently
  • 6 Months: Fully functional, contributing to projects and participating in on-call rotations
  • Success is defined by tenacity, clear communication, and a willingness to learn our industry-specific systems

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 1–2 years in IT support or customer service
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Curious and motivated to self-learn
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Experience with ServiceNow, ITIL, or internal tools is a plus
  • Calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment
