A rapidly growing, values-driven organization headquartered in the Pacific Northwest is looking for an experienced IT Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of its technology infrastructure across multiple sites. This hands-on role includes maintaining user accounts, managing hardware and software systems, providing direct technical support, and contributing to IT projects and inventory management. This position is well-suited for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on-site with a collaborative and mission-driven team.

Core Responsibilities:

User & Account Management:

  • Administer user and email accounts, user groups, and onboarding/offboarding workflows
  • Coordinate hardware deployments and recoveries in partnership with HR and operations teams
  • Provision and deprovision accounts across platforms, including telecom and cloud systems

System & Network Support:

  • Set up and configure computers, mobile devices, timeclocks, cameras, and related systems
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and maintain upgrade and license schedules
  • Support equipment fulfillment for office and production environments

Security & Compliance:

  • Respond to security events, enforce IT policies, and assist in remediation
  • Monitor held mail, update filters, and support compliance with internal protocols

Project Support:

  • Assist with testing and deployment of IT projects and workflow enhancements
  • Document issues, resolutions, and contribute to internal process documentation

Inventory & Asset Management:

  • Track and maintain IT inventory levels, tag and log hardware assets
  • Manage IT warehouse space and coordinate procurement of devices and equipment

Communication & Documentation:

  • Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments to ensure aligned support
  • Draft user guides, technical documentation, and team processes

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance tests and research external resources for troubleshooting
  • Create and maintain protocols and process documentation
  • Provide desktop-level support including installs, backups, and system configurations
  • Perform hands-on support and escalate complex issues to senior staff as needed
  • Travel locally between sites as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, desktop administration, or helpdesk roles
  • Proficient in Windows 10, Android OS, and a range of software/hardware tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, and telecom platforms
  • Experience with cloud identity systems and just-in-time provisioning preferred
  • Working knowledge of platforms like Jira, Slack, and 1Password a plus
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, or Security+ are a plus
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (per regulatory requirements)
  • Background check and state-required certifications or permits required
