About The Role
ProPivotal is hiring a Remote IT Support Specialist to support a fully remote workforce across the U.S. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys solving problems and supporting others. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the digital tools and systems that power day-to-day operations and ensure team members are equipped to do their best work from anywhere.


Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across a remote team
  • Set up and configure laptops, user accounts, and systems for new hires
  • Troubleshoot issues with tools like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and VPNs
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and monitor access permissions
  • Document support processes and create internal how-to guides
  • Collaborate with vendors and escalate issues when necessary
  • Support remote device management and basic cybersecurity practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support
  • Proficient in Windows and macOS systems
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms and account management
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience with mobile device management tools (e.g., Jamf, Intune)
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • ITIL or CompTIA certifications
  • Experience supporting distributed teams

Salary

  • Annual salary range: $40,000 – $50,000
