The Information Systems Support Group of the Intelligent Systems Division supports researchers as they develop automated solutions for commercial and government clients in multiple domains including transportation (traffic management, connected automated vehicles) and manufacturing robotics.
Objectives of this Role:
- Implement security measures and data management practices to protect and maintain the integrity of the Division's data and systems.
- Support and maintain various IT systems and applications necessary for daily operations.
- Configure, manage, and maintain the Lansweeper platform across the enterprise environment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Lansweeper deployment, scanning, and data accuracy.
- Administer and maintain the Qualys platform, including Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance, and Web Application Scanning modules.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Maintain and apply system updates and patches and manage the day-to-day operation of the Division’s network and core business servers.
- Assist in planning and executing upgrades to the Division's core Information Technology infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain critical IT vulnerability response processes and applications.
- Support audits and compliance by providing accurate IT asset reports and system documentation.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Networking, Management Information Systems or related degree field with relevant experience. A high school diploma, equivalent or an Associates degree with 20 years of related work experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
- CompTia A+, Lexmark, DCSE, ACMT or similar preferred.
- 6 years: Experience in supporting various IT systems in a business or corporate environment.
- 3 years: Experience with Microsoft Active Directory management.
- 2-5 years: Experience preparing for and completing external cybersecurity audits.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well individually and as a member of a technical project team.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
