The Opportunity

Cure is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our dynamic New York City-based team in support of our daily operations, resident support and events. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure, with a particular focus on supporting our event spaces and providing general IT support. The ideal candidate will possessworking knowledgeof audio-visual systems and general IT troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

IT Support:

·Technical Support: Provide on-site support/troubleshooting for internal employees, and residents relating to hardware, software, printer and network issues for both onsite and remote users

·Network Support: Assist in maintenance and troubleshooting of network systems, monitoring network performance, pushing updates and identifying potential issues.

·Ticketing & Documentation: Documenting and responding to support tickets and requests in a timely and professional manner with thoughtful resolutions.

·Hardware Management: Install, configure, maintain, and take inventory of computers, printers, and other IT equipment – support both Mac and Windows.

·Manage and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange.

  • Maintain account provisioning and device management in Entra ID.

AV Support:

·Event Preparation: Work closely with onsite AV team to prepare for upcoming events.

·Event Operations: Provide on-site technical support during events, inclusive of configuring and operating, projectors, displays, teleprompters, mixers, lighting, sound systems and video conferencing systems.

·Team Collaboration: Work hand in hand with current AV and IT team. During downtime, taking initiative to learn internal systems, and implement necessary updates.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

·Associate or bachelor’s degree in related fields (e.g. Information Technology, Audio-Visual Engineer) or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are required in lieu of a BS degree.

·Basic understanding of AV equipment and systems, including projectors, displays, sound systems, video conferencing and lighting.

·Familiarity with creating/updating Network and IT documentation.

·Proficiency in troubleshooting AV and IT issues in conference rooms throughout the building

·Ability to work independently and as a part of a team with strong communication skills.

·Positive Attitude and willingness to learn.

·Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.

·Ability to manage time and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID

·Experience with help desk ticketing systems is a plus.

·Experience with live streaming platforms or video editing capabilities is a plus.

·Experience with ProPresenter software or Tricaster control panels is a plus.

·Strong fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN, etc, are preferred.

Please note that this is an on site position. Cure follows a Monday-Thursday in office and Friday remote policy. Hours are subject to change based on event support needs.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
