Position: IT Support Technician

Location: The Joule, Dallas, TX

Company Overview: Highgate Hotels is a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company with a strong presence in major U.S. cities and internationally. They specialize in developing and managing diverse hotel portfolios, utilizing industry-leading revenue management tools and a team of experienced hotel management leaders.

Job Overview: Provide advanced technical support and resolution for the IT support team via remote control, telephone, and desk-side support. Manage requests through the ticketing system, contribute to the technical knowledge base, and collaborate with department managers on projects and operational needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide timely, courteous, and efficient customer service to internal and external users via telephone, remote control, and desk-side support.
2. Track work in Incident Management software and contribute to the technical knowledge base, documentation, and user training.
3. Maintain IT support processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, and data privacy regulations.
4. Perform installation of new computer systems, peripherals, software, and network equipment.
5. Conduct advanced troubleshooting of systems, software, and networks, including endpoints/servers, operating systems, hospitality-specific software, VOIP phone service, and networking equipment.
6. Ensure quality customer service by adhering to established IT standards.
7. Be available to work outside of regular hours as needed to meet critical deadlines.
8. Participate in special projects as assigned.
9. Practice safe work habits.
10. Perform other duties as requested by leadership.

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of progressive experience in an MIS system or related field.
2. Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Thorough understanding of information technology, microcomputer hardware and software, and networking principles.
6. Experience in a hotel or related industry.
