Position: IT Client Support Technician – Midland, TX

Rate: $30-40/hour DOE

Office Status: Onsite 5 days per week; travel to field sites in the area is required. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Job Description

We are seeking an IT Client Support Technician to provide exceptional customer service and technical support for corporate and remote office environments. This role will focus on refreshing and replacing customer equipment at remote locations, imaging computers, and coordinating with end-users to schedule refreshes. You will support hardware, software, and peripheral devices while maintaining corporate IT standards and ensuring efficient asset lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform refresh/replacement projects for end-user devices, including imaging, configuration, and deployment.
  • Configure and deploy workstations, install corporate-approved software, manage networked printer setups.
  • Coordinate with end-users to schedule refreshes and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage IT asset lifecycle, inventory control, and equipment assignment.
  • Document incidents, tasks, and procedures in the enterprise ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot client software, hardware, and configurations.
  • Provide in-person and remote user support.
  • Travel to remote sites for deployments as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365 Suite, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with Apple iOS & Android platforms.
  • Proficiency in computer imaging and deployment processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel (day or overnight) as required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in enterprise-wide refresh projects or multi-site deployments.
  • Knowledge of IT asset management best practices.
  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with PPE requirements and safety protocols.
