Position Description:
The IT Systems Support Analyst will support our internal IT operations within a small in-house team. Responsibilities include managing PC hardware, Windows OS troubleshooting, phone systems, and Microsoft 365 applications. Experience with help-desk ticketing, remote connectivity, endpoint monitoring, and security tools is preferred. Excellent customer service and a proactive approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance regarding Windows OS, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, network, and applications.
- Install, configure, and deploy new user workstations, software, and hardware following onboarding/offboarding procedures.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with equipment checkouts and returns.
- Follow IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to protect company data.
- Escalate complex issues to management or external vendors.
- Collaborate with IT team members for efficient operations.
Systems & Infrastructure
- Assist with maintenance and monitoring of Windows desktops and network devices.
- Manage hardware and software lifecycle.
- Use remote management tools for deployment and configuration.
Microsoft 365 & Device Management
- Support daily Microsoft 365 operations (Outlook, Teams, Office apps).
- Assist with device setup and management using Microsoft Intune.
Security & Maintenance
- Help maintain endpoint protection and participate in patch management.
- Conduct system audits and performance checks.
- Manage user profiles in IAM systems (Entra ID).
- Follow security protocols and assist with compliance tasks.
Telephony / VOIP Systems
- Assist with VoIP phone system setup and support.
Documentation & Standards
- Keep records of support requests and procedures.
- Follow and contribute to documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or coursework in IT is a plus.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, networking, hardware, and software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to understand technical manuals.
Certifications (Not Required):
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or equivalent
- CompTIA A+ or Network+
- VOIP training is a plus
