Manufacturing IT Support Engineer
Responsible for setup and first line of support for Lowell site’smanufacturing IT hardware and software needs and also for driving continuousimprovement to the operations systems.The IT SupportAdministratorwill provide sustaining support of factory computer andtablet-based workstations and software.This role will partner withoperations and IT to troubleshoot and drive resolution of issues to supportefficient manufacturing. This role will also coordinate with factory managementto coordinate hardware/software updates. This is a dynamic role, often changing‘hats’ daily to support various team needs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaincatalog of all manufacturing hardware and software including specialtyapplication software.
- Supportand troubleshooting of factory specific hardware and software applications
- Developplans for Manufacturing IT infrastructure improvement and execute to theplan.
- Mustbe willing to build familiarity with operator MES Eyelit interactions toassist in continuous improvement in operator interaction with workstations
- Responsiblefor partnering with IT on maintenance and replacement of manufacturing PCs
- Firstpoint of contact for manufacturing related hardware and software issuesand will partner with IT on resolution
- Worksclosely with operations management to coordinate activities
- Partnerswith manufacturing personnel to highlight gaps and inefficiencies in themanufacturing IT systems and drives improvements to address them.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field.
- Mustbe comfortable working in a clean room environment and be willing and ableto wear a smock suit.
- Mustbe willing to skew work schedule as needed to support FAB need.
- Expertisein Windows OS and infrastructure
- Professionalcertifications are a plus
- Goodtime management, multitasking, and networking skills
- Stronginter-personal skills and ability to motivate team members.
- Somecomputer application programming experience.
- Experiencein semiconductor-related operations is a plus
- Understandingof the semiconductor process flow, structure and functions is a plus.
- Customerservice orientation and creative problem-solving skills.
