Job Description
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to provide the Magnetic Silencing Facility (MSF) program general Information Technology (IT) lifecycle support for hardware/software systems at MSF sites. The IT Systems Administrator will also maintain configuration management of software, as well as support maintaining the system master disks/files to facilitate on site troubleshooting and hardware/software systems restoration of theMSF site computer network systems.
Duties
Basic duties to include:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure
- Monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize system efficiency
- Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures
- Apply security patches and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user support issues
- Manage software installation, upgrades, and license compliance
- Track and maintain IT asset inventory, conduct audits, and oversee asset disposal
- Maintain system documentation, record changes, and prepare monthly reports for the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA)
Qualifications
Required education and experience:
- BS/BA with 10+ years’ relevant experience, or
- MS/MA with 7+ years’ relevant experience

- Secret
Working Environment
- On-site
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS
