Job Description:

Seeking an IT support specialist with experience in computer and network troubleshooting, hardware replacement, and software installation. Responsibilities include:

  1. PC troubleshooting, including BIOS, drivers, OS, and software issues.
  2. Printer setup, IP and cloud printing configuration.
  3. OneDrive setup, migrations, and cloud sharing via OneNote.
  4. Data recovery attempts on failed systems.
  5. Encryption and password troubleshooting.
  6. MacOS troubleshooting, OS updates, encryption, and Office for Mac 2016 support for employees using iPlanet and O365.
  7. LAN/WAN connectivity troubleshooting, cabling diagnostics, network port verification, and rogue device identification.
  8. Networking hardware support including routers, switches, and WAPs, with Cisco VOIP installation and troubleshooting.
  9. Utilization of TACACS and NetDB for network management.
  10. Customer communication, maintaining composure, and directing support queries appropriately.
  11. Time and resource management, workload prioritization, and access to technical knowledge bases.
  12. Support for field equipment such as PSCAN, STARBASE, POS, FSM, and others.
  13. Support for freight and logistics hardware, including PC ordering and replacements.
  14. Setup and troubleshooting of video conferencing and new boardroom equipment.
  15. Support for wireless access points, switch installations, and network monitoring, working closely with network engineers.
  16. Support for Apple devices including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs, and Mac Minis.
