Overview
Analyst, Data Management (ROPS) role at DaVita Kidney Care. The position focuses on implementing new or updating existing data systems, databases, data models and/or data visualization tools to create accessible, accurate, and secure data for business teams within Revenue Operations. The Data Management Analyst coordinates with IT, external vendors, and business partners, using DaVita’s data systems and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Build data systems and data models or assist in building databases using technical skills (SQL, Oracle, Netezza).
- Export, transform, and load data tables into data repositories to support maintenance of multiple databases.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of a specific business lane or data scope, including data sources, data repositories, and data flow from source to repository.
- Lead training sessions and office hours to help end users adopt best practices with visualization tools.
- Proactively raise awareness of issues impacting data tables, processes, or business metrics within the work stream.
- Serve as the business lead for User Acceptance Testing; deliver timely, accurate work and identify ways to prevent future system issues.
- Develop requirements by collaborating with business partners and translating needs for a specific business or data table.
- Coordinate working sessions and facilitate interactions between business teams and IT; synthesize meeting recaps and next steps.
- Direct and execute on next steps to progress work streams; identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of data/process dependencies for a lane of business and required data system updates.
- Communicate deadlines and roadblocks proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (STEM, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business).
- 2 to 4 years’ experience or applicable work experience; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SQL, Tableau, VBA, Python, Access, etc. preferred.
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, including analytical modeling and insight generation.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences including senior leaders.

- Experience in healthcare and/or revenue cycle preferred.
