Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Manhattan, NY

Salary: $130K – $150K

We are a leading mechanical contractor specializing in high-quality commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical solutions across the five boroughs. Our portfolio spans large office buildings, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments. Known for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team.

This client-facing role requires strong technical expertise, organizational excellence, and the ability to lead teams across multiple sites from project inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of mechanical projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Manage subcontractors, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and clients to align project goals.
• Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
• Deliver regular progress reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems in commercial settings.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects across the 5 boroughs.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with local codes, permitting, and safety compliance.
