Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects
Location: Pomona, CA – Onsite
Duration: 15 Months (with possible extension)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in infrastructure projects within the energy/utility sector . The role involves overseeing infrastructure replacement programs, managing interconnection agreements, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end infrastructure replacement projects , from planning to execution.
- Define project scope, cost responsibilities, and ensure alignment with engineering and estimating teams.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and large-scale clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in technical discussions to assess feasibility and resolve challenges.
- Lead customer negotiations on project scope and requirements.
- Interpret and manage interconnection agreements under CAISO, WDAT, and Rule 21 .
- Ensure compliance with contract terms governed by FERC and CPUC .
- Collaborate with contract teams to clarify scope and cost allocations.
- Drive project execution, monitor milestones, and escalate risks as needed.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and coordinate with technical PM teams to maintain project readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related technical discipline .
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, program management, or contract management.
- Proven experience working on infrastructure or utility-related projects .
- Strong knowledge of utility contracts, interconnection agreements, and regulatory compliance (CAISO, WDAT, Rule 21, FERC, CPUC).
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills .
