Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will manage the day-to-day accounting responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for the daily accounting operations
• Validate transactions and ensure proper documentation procedures are realized
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets; provide monthly reconciliation
• Perform multi-account analysis and ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Review and process bank deposits, wires, ACH payments, and bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year end closing process
• Maintain an organized filing system for documents and records related to all accounting activities
• Provide financial audit support with necessary documentation and reports as needed
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Must be proactive and possess a high degree of initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
• Ability to solve problems in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently and as a spart of the team
• Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, ERP systems
• Enthusiastic and dynamic personality. Highly motivated.
• Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

The Senior Accountant works in an office. The Senior Accountant uses a computer and telephone.

Physical Demands

The position requires sitting for extended periods. The position may also require walking, bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and lifting (no more than 20lbs).

Position Type

The position is full-time. Office hours are generally Monday through Friday. Though not routine, the weekend or additional hours may be required as needed.

Travel

This position may require minimal travel.

Preferred Education and Experience

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in similar role
