$85,000.00/yr - $92,500.00/yr

Summary:

Addison Group has partnered with a global, middle-market manufacturer on the search for a Senior Accountant. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will help lead a team responsible for accurate and timely financial closes and preparation of period financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Performs variance analysis and provides recommendations to resolve large variances
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes to ensure accurate preparation of financial statements
• Assist Accounting Manager with helping lead the department
• Keep a continuous improvement mindset to evaluate opportunities for more efficient accounting practices

Qualifications:

• 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
