$95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Senior Accountant
Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite)
Compensation: $95,000-$115,000 + 10% Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and execute full month-end and year-end close cycles
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Develop and deliver financial reports and KPI dashboards to business leaders
• Perform variance analysis, identify cost drivers, and support budgeting/forecasting
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with finance, operations, and supply chain
• Play a key role in inventory accounting, ERP optimization, and cost accounting
• Participate in cash flow analysis, covenant compliance, and FX reporting
• Assist in SOX compliance, internal controls testing, and process documentation
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities
• Mentor junior staff and support audit processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Background in public accounting, public company, or product-based environment preferred
• CPA strongly preferred or on track
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and variance analysis
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong communication, leadership potential, and desire for visibility in a lean team
