Overview
Senior Salesforce Business Analyst role at TriNet. The Senior Business Analyst will work with Marketing, Sales, Finance and other stakeholders to define the system roadmap and implement solutions that align with business objectives and support scalability. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Salesforce platforms, Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Agentforce, business processes, and a proven ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead Salesforce development projects from conceptualization to implementation (approximately 10%).
- Requirements gathering: collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, conduct workshops and interviews to elicit detailed requirements (approximately 20%).
- Document and maintain detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows; create and update documentation related to system configurations and customizations (approximately 20%).
- Salesforce configuration: configure and customize Salesforce applications to meet business requirements; collaborate with developers and administrators to implement solutions (approximately 15%).
- Data analysis: ensure data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce; identify data migration needs and work with data migration specialists (approximately 5%).
- Testing and quality assurance: develop and execute test plans; ensure solutions meet quality standards; collaborate with QA teams for system and user acceptance testing (approximately 5%).
- User training and support: provide training to end-users and offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance (approximately 5%).
- Report and dashboard creation: design and create reports and dashboards to visualize key performance metrics; understand reporting needs and optimize data visibility (approximately 5%).
- Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams (developers, administrators, product owners/managers, project managers, business stakeholders) to ensure the CPQ system supports sales operations and drives business growth (approximately 15%).
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience – Required.
Experience: Typically 5+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or similar role – Required.
Licenses and Certifications: Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certifications – Required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication; knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; strong presentation and facilitation skills; highly organized with strong attention to detail; in-depth knowledge of CPQ platform; proficiency in JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced Excel.
