Position Highlights

• Salary: $21.23-$26.01/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates
• Sign-on bonus: $3,600 + $900 at 12 months of employment

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

What You’ll Do

• Maintain patient medical records, update medical history and vital signs as needed
• Perform complete dental X-ray procedures (panoramic, cephalometric, intraoral photographs) and store images in the patient’s electronic record
• Set up and record periodontal charting per Provider’s instruction
• Prepare and set up instruments and equipment for patient exams
• Mix materials for exams with awareness of infection control and cross-contamination
• Provide preventative periodontal care (coronal polish, fluoride, sealants)
• Start and monitor nitrous oxide analgesia as necessary under the Provider’s supervision (Only in Washington)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene; provide clinic and Mobile Unit school-based program education
• Assist in infection control: ensure sterile packaging, sterilize instruments/equipment, clean autoclaves and operatories
• Assist in Orthodontics as needed (records, bite registrations, models, retainers, ligature ties)
• Lead duties: manage department flow, liaison with supervisor, manage breaks and overtime, train staff as needed
• Perform clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC)
