Actalent We are seeking a highly motivated RF Engineer to contribute to the development of RF hardware systems throughout the development lifecycle, from system requirements definition to delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications, and under the guidance of staff, you will design, implement, and support the assembly, integration, and testing of hardware designs.
Responsibilities
Development: Develop RF hardware systems from system requirements definition through to delivery. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications. Design Implementation: Design and implement hardware designs with guidance from staff. Component Selection: Identify and select RF system components such as active and passive devices, antennas, connectors, cables, and physical enclosures. Analysis: Conduct supporting analyses to inform and justify decisions, such as RF link budgets. Support: Support assembly, initial operation, and checkout of systems, including definition of test setups.
Essential Skills
Knowledge of technical concepts related to RF systems and their principles of design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis. Experience in the delivery of advanced development hardware. Proficiency in RF systems test experience including using tools such as Cadence AWR, Python, RFDesigner, spectrum analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, often under tight deadlines. Experience in providing information for briefings and technical reviews such as SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMS. Demonstrated experience in radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, or physics modeling and simulation preferred preferred Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of applicable experience or equivalent experience.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
