Office: Health Innovation & Quality Bureau: Health Research & Quality Classification: Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1 (PN: 20100751) Job Overview: As the Health Systems Collaborations Manager in the Office of Health Innovation & Quality, Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), your responsibilities will include: Administration of population health improvement initiatives for one of the above Medicaid population streams to improve outcomes and disparities in alignment with ODM's Population Health and Quality Strategy. Oversight and evaluation of one statewide component of the Next Generation of Managed Care's programs requiring cross-system collaboration between managed care plans and health systems. Review, analysis, and intervention design for improvement initiatives within these partnerships and develop a methodology and implementation timeline for monitoring and evaluating these improvement initiatives, including outcome measurement and impact on population health. Evaluation of research into evidence-based interventions and strategies for population health improvement strategies using managed care plan (MCP)-ACO and MCP-SBHC partnerships. Coordination of collaboration with other ODM offices, state agencies, Managed Care Entities (MECs), health systems, providers, school districts, advisory committees, and other internal and external stakeholders and partners to facilitate Quality Improvement Project development, design, and implementation. Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 12 months experience in the delivery of a health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data base analysis). Or 12 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Specialist, 65293.
