Electrical Systems Integrator
to join our Electrical Assembly division. The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM. Your Role As an Electrical Systems Integrator, your role will involve assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. You'll collaborate with a variety of wiring, cables, and connectors, all while ensuring seamless operation of our electrical equipment. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints is crucial, as you'll work closely with electricians and other technical experts to see projects through to completion. As safety and standards are paramount in this role, compliance with regulations is a must. Essential Functions Utilize hand tools (crimpers, strippers, torquing, and calibration tools). Systematically run and organize wires per Powell's wiring specifications. Perform layout, installation, drilling, and tapping of devices on doors and back pans. Install nameplates, space heaters, and terminate CTs. Engage in the operation of continuity buzzers. Conduct wire termination for MCC, SWGR, and harnesses, per wiring diagrams. Promote a culture of safety and participate actively in safety meetings. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Engage in process inspections actively. Qualifications Needed We prefer candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent. Competency in reading and comprehending point-to-point wiring diagrams and measuring tools is essential. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is expected. Candidates should comfortably handle hand and power tools and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. An Added Advantage Although not mandatory, familiarity with basic computer operations, equipment calibration, and the ability to interpret specification sheets will be considered assets. Aptitude and Competencies We are looking for individuals with a positive demeanor, eagerness to learn, and ability to incorporate feedback from senior staff. Punctuality, a solution-oriented mindset, adaptability, and integrity shape our ideal candidate. Work Conditions This safety-critical role is situated in a temperature-regulated manufacturing environment with the occasional need to work outdoors. Safety gear, including hard hats, safety glasses, and hearing protection, will be worn at all times. Physical Demands This role involves maintaining balance and agility, frequent climbing, and repetitive motion across shifts.
